100 CLUB OF ARIZONA
The 100 Club of Arizona was established in 1968 after a Phoenix police officer was killed in the line of duty. Their mission is to ensure assistance by providing immediate financial relief to all public safety members and their families throughout the state of Arizona during times of hardship. The 100 Club of Arizona and its members realize that money can never make up for the loss of or disability of a loved one, but it can be helpful in covering immediate expenses. In addition, the 100 Club of Arizona has a committee of experts, including members of the fallen officer’s agency, CPAs, attorneys, trust officers, brokers, financial consultants, insurance consultants and employee benefits consultants. This team, at the survivor’s request, will advise and counsel families in a wide range of areas without cost or obligation. In addition to an offering of financial assistance, they provide scholarships to immediate families wanting to pursue further education. Today, the 100 Club of Arizona supports all police, correctional, probation and parole officers, firefighters, and federal agents who are serving and protecting the citizens of Arizona.
Cannon & Wendt looks to support those that protect our communities in any way it can. The Cannon & Wendt charity committee teams up with the 100 Club of Arizona every year, and for the last five years, to host the Supporting Our Heroes Park Day at the Riverview Park in Mesa. This is a public and family friendly event that features bounce houses, finger painting, K-9 demonstrations, raffles, and a check presentation to benefit the 100 Club of Arizona. This last year Cannon & Wendt raised $63,672 alone and totaled over $113k thanks to Wallcon’s contributions.

DUCK AND RUN
As a founding member of the Duck & Run Golf Classic, our president Shane Snyder ensures Cannon & Wendt’s place as a major sponsor every year. The Duck & Run Golf Classic is an annual benefit tournament supporting nonprofits like Arizona Disabled Sports, Suzy Foundation, and Crowns of Courage. For nearly 25 years, the tournament continues to grow with the support of major sponsors like Cannon & Wendt, Builder’s Guild, W.D. Manor, and Climatec. Since its inception, the tournament has raised over $1,000,000.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is a charitable organization dedicated to providing person-to-person assistance to those in need. Founded in 1833, the society operates through local conferences of lay members, known as Vincentians, who offer practical help and support to individuals and families experiencing poverty and hardship. St. Vincent DePaul assists the Phoenix community by offering food assistance, shelter and housing, medical and dental care, clothing, and assistance with rent and utilities. Cannon & Wendt partners with SVdP by hosting several drives throughout the year- from our Keep Warm clothing drive to our 100 Days of Summer water drives.

ARIZONA HUMANE SOCIETY
The Arizona Humane Society is the largest animal welfare organization in the state, dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for vulnerable pets. AHS operates Arizona’s largest trauma hospital for animals. Every year Cannon & Wendt donates a check and hosts food/ supply drives to benefit the Arizona Humane Society. In addition, Cannon & Wendt participates in and donates to their annual golf tournament.

BIG DIG FOR KIDS
Phoenix Children’s Big Dig for Kids is an invite-only event that brings Phoenix Children’s Hospital patients and their families out for a fun day on construction equipment. Last year, 2,000 participants came together to experience the thrill of operating 60+ large construction equipment- including excavators, standing tall on scissor lifts, and exploring various other heavy machinery. They can also express their creativity in the kid’s zones with art and craft activities or visit interactive booths manned by sponsors like Cannon & Wendt. Since 2016, Big Dig for Kids has raised over $4,000,000 for pediatric cancer research.
